G’day Everyone,Update on 2019 Runoff Fishing at Northern Territory.

I Just got back from another Amazing trip from Moyle river and little Moyle river.
Biggest Barra for the trip 110cm and few more in the 90’s.

Mud Crabs for dinner every night.

A lot of different species were caught and released during our fantastic safari, fresh snapper and mud crabs every night for dinner how can you go wrong.  We managed to keep Scores of how many species we caught during the trip we managed 32 species for the whole safari.

Every trip starts with a lot of questions/jokes as how and what we are going to do every day and clients expectations. While we travel towards our destination and clients have a cold beer I set to my tasks of getting the gear ready and yes its time for knot tying lessons, it is a perfect time and good opportunity for clients to learn and improve their fishing knots.

I always try and tell the boys how important a good knot is, it can make a difference and land that prize fish and not tell a story about the one that got away. Off course there are times when fish is lost but it should never be lost due to bad knot preparation.

Best way for the clients to learn the knots is to video tape the knot tying lesson on their phone so they can play it again and again when they get home and become experts and confident on their knots.

Well done to all the boys and thanks for a great trip. We managed to have awesome sessions on Jewies , snapper , Barra, Queenies, Tuna ,
Gt’s, Jack’s etc.

Justin Thomas another one of my regular clients and a good mate also posted a link on his page, with a proper drone footage and hot fishing session.
