G’day Everyone, we’re back from another awesome trip with Boys from Cairns, Wade and Joel.
We had a fantastic trip catching big salt water Barras at Shoal Bay, NT, with the Biggest Barra being 102cm.
Reidy’s lures RC vibe “Blowie” as I call it, did most of the damage on the day.
I picked up the boys from the hotel early morning and after a quick stop for fuel and ice we launched the boat at Buffalo Creek for our Barramundi fishing charter.
After that it was a quick run to shoal bay and we started the day with high anticipations.
Great fishing at Shoal Bay NT
My clients got more and more excited as the low tides approached, because this was our time to chase the big Girls ( Barras) as the water drained.
We had an early lunch so we could fish the prime time of tide later at Shoal Bay NT.
Right on time Big Barras started Boofing as the prawns and mullets started to drain out at my favorite spot and we landed beautiful salt water Barras biggest going 102cm.
Local knowledge is a key to a successful fishing day.
I spend nearly every day on the water and fish different rivers/bays as the tides and moon phase changes. I will always discuss and check with you what you want to target for the day, your preferred methods of fishing, etc, so I can maximize a productive fishing day.
Most of my interstate clients have never seen a wild salt water crocodile and wonderful bird life on the wetlands.
Of course, fishing is fantastic but it’s the whole experience with sun rise and sun sets, that makes fishing with Spring Tide Safaris so memorable.
So keep us mind when booking your tour and let me know your expectation, as what you would like to see and catch on the day.
Well done Boys and special thanks to Colin from Reidy’s Lures our local business in Darwin.
Merry Christmas Everyone have a great holidays.
Cheers, Micky
