Terms and conditions of Spring Tide safaris

1.    BOOKINGS

1.1    All bookings require payment of a 20% deposit within 7 days to confirm the booking. Failure to pay the deposit may result in the booking to be cancelled.
1.2    For Extended Charters final payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to departure. Failure to make final payment within this time may result in the booking being cancelled.
1.3    Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

2.    REFUNDS

2.1    30 days or more prior to departure: 20% cancellation fee
2.2    30-10 days prior to departure: 50% cancellation fee
2.3    Within 10 days to departure: 100% cancellation fee

3.    Safety

3.1    Instructions or advice given by the Guide on matters of safety must be observed by all passengers on board and passengers must, at all times, take all reasonable precautions for their own and others safety.
3.2    The guide does not accept any liability for any accident or injury incurred by any passenger on board the vessel engaged in fishing, angling, sightseeing, photography, filming, whilst in transit or similar activities, caused by the actions of any other passenger on board howsoever occurring.

4.    TURBULENT WEATHER

4.1    The Northern Territory can experience rough weather conditions. On such occasions, the Guide has the discretion to decide whether to commence a trip or, if a trip has commenced, to seek shelter during a trip.
4.2    If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather no refund will be given. However passengers will be given the option re-book another trip. The full amount paid will be applied towards the rescheduled trip. The rescheduled trip will be for the equivalent value.

5.    INSURANCE

Spring tide safaris recommends that all passengers purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation cover, at the time of booking. The insurance will protect the passengers against an emergency that may cause a passenger to cancel their tour or leave their tour whilst on tour.

6.    MEDICAL / DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

6.1    Spring tide safaris caters for all meals whilst on tour. Any passengers with special dietary needs must inform Spring tide safaris  at the time of final payment.
6.2    It is the responsibility of the passengers to inform Spring tide safaris of any medical requirements prior to departure. All passengers are responsible for their own medication.

7.    LIABILITY

Spring tide safaris takes no responsibility for any injuries sustained to passengers or damage to personal property, whilst boarding the vessel, for the duration of the tour, or disembarking from the vessel unless such injury is caused by the wilful neglect of the owner or its employees. Passengers board the vessel at their own risk.

8.    PHOTOGRAPHY

Spring tide safaris may take photographs on the vessel and publish the photographs on the website or in television or written media advertising for promotional purposes. Please advise Spring tide safaris if you do not wish any photographs to be taken for such purposes.
